We all know that the DC Universe is heading towards a new creative direction under the leadership of DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran. However, a lot of fans are still holding out hope that this renewed path for the franchise would lead to the revival of Zack Snyder's then-DCEU plans.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case as Gunn and Safran are very much determined to hit the reset button on the DCU when the dust finally settles in December after the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Despite that, Snyder is still dedicated to protecting the legacy of the SnyderVerse and just recently, the beloved director revealed that he plans to celebrate all three of his DC projects via a special three-day event dubbed the 'Snyder Con'.

Now, we still don't know if the Snyder Con could mean anything for his future at the DC Universe but it turns out that he's still down to continuing what he started a decade ago. Speaking with The Nerd Queens, Snyder said he's open to the idea of the SnyderVerse crossing over to the comics, although he admits he hasn't spoken to DC Studios about it.

He said: "I would really enjoy that if it was a possibility. There was a time when we were gonna do that, and then there was a sort of change of desire, I guess"

Obviously, the rights to the Justice League and other DC-related characters do not belong to Snyder and it would take some serious negotiating before DC Studios allows him to "restore" the SnyderVerse. Personally, I don't think it's possible but hey, we all said the same thing about the Snyder Cut.

Tickets for the 'Snyder Con' will go on sale on March 24th.
