Yoo Yeon Seok briefly responded to the controversy, alleging him of disrespecting a security guard.
Back in March, the Hospital Playlist star was criticized for displaying a rude attitude towards security personnel at his building.
As obtained by AllKpop, a post circulated in online communities, accusing Yoo Yeon Seok of disrespecting their father, who happens to work as a security guard at the apartment building where the actor lives.
In a post, the uploader said that the father liked the actor because he “looked sincere, and kind on TV.”
However, he was disappointed with his bad encounter with Yoo Yeon Seok which lead him to quit his work.
“Even if Yoo Yeon Seok didn't accept my father's greeting once, he assumed it was because Yoo Yeon Seok was busy and still cheered him on,” the person recalled, adding the incident where the uploader found out about his interaction with the Narco-Saints star.
“One day, my dad came home with a dark look on his face and quit working as a security guard that month. After that happened, Yoo Yeon Seok came out on TV, and my father frowned and went into his room,” the post reads, and even went to describe the actor as “not a good guy, but a bad guy” as mentioned by the person’s father.
In addition, the post also mentioned that even the actor’s friend 'A' further claimed verbally disrespected the security guard and felt ashamed and humiliated by what happened.

The separate report claimed that the uploader admitted that it was a made-up story and didn't expect that it will gain massive attention.
Moreover, the person said that it was written out of jealousy because Yoo Yeon Seok is “appearing often on various entertainment programs and was becoming popular."
At the time, the actor’s agency King Kong by Starship proved that it was a false allegation and planned on filing a criminal lawsuit against the uploader.

Yoo Yeon Seok on His Alleged Rude Attitude Towards a Security Personnel
Weeks after the news broke, Yoo Yeon Seok expressed his reaction but seemed unbothered by the incident, all thanks to his fans.
In a report obtained by KBizoom, the actor had an Instagram live broadcast where he briefly spoke about the controversy.
He mentioned that he didn't feel “too sad because many people cheered” for him, referring to his supporters, adding “I believed in you just as you believed in me.”
Interestingly, fans joked and said, “Don’t annoy our kind Yoo Yeon Seok,” however the Yoo Yeon Seok teased his Instagram followers and said “That’s right, don’t annoy me. I might get angry” and laughed about his response.
Amid the false accusation, the actor is booked and busy this 2023.
