Yoo Ah In is making round of headlines since the start of 2023 after he got embroiled in illegal drug use.
To recall, the award winning star wrapped up his trip in the United States along with acquaintaces as they flew to South Korea from Los Angeles.
However, upon arrival, he faced suspicion over propofol use and was under investigation by the police.

Following the speculation of the actor’s illegal substance use, police requested the National Forensic Service to conduct an evaluation as part of the probe concerning the actor’s alleged drug use.
It was later revealed that Yoo Ah In is using illegal substance after testing positive in four types of drugs: profopol, cocaine, ketamine and marijuana.
Due to this, authorities have conducted search and seizure at his Itaewon residence to gather more information regarding the case.
After his 50 day silence since the news broke, Yoo Ah In made public appearance after being invited by the police for questioning.
At the time, the Seoul Vibe star publicly apologized twice. First is after the 12-hr interrogation, he faced the media and made a brief statement regarding his situation, followed by an Instagram post, apologizing to the fans and colleagues.
“During the outbreak of the incident and with insufficient reflection, I clearly realized that my mistake could not be concealed with any excuse,” he said in an Instagram post, acknowledging his wrong doings, adding “The self-rationalization I brought was wrong, and ultimately can never cover up my stupid choice.”
