Fans flocked to social media and shared the lovely encounter between the two.
As seen in the photos, IU and Yoo Ah In looked surprised to see a familiar face overseas; however, they only had a brief talk and walked in a different direction after greeting each other.
Weeks later, netizens claimed that they were both spotted in Paris.

IU attended the Gucci show for Milan Fashion Week 2022, while Yoo Ah In visited Europe to watch Bottega Veneta's Spring Summer 2023 fashion show.
Interestingly, the two are not the only Korean celebrities who flew to Europe to attend different fashion shows.
Apart from the two, several Korean celebrities were also spotted at various fashion shows.

Fans Angered by Yoo Ah In and IU’s Dating Rumors
While others ship the two top stars some fans shut down the dating rumors asking the public to leave the two alone.
Per reports, netizens pointed out that the issue is groundless, saying that they only met randomly in Milan.
This is not the first time that IU has been linked to fellow celebrities.
Previously, the singer-actress is rumored to be dating BTS' Jungkook, BIG BANG's G-Dragon, EXO's Baekhyun, Hotel Del Luna co-star Yeo Jin Goo and Park Seo Joon, her co-star in her upcoming film Dream.
