Tawny Cypress recently sat down for an interview with TVLine to discuss Taissa's story in Yellowjackets Season 3.
Cypress promised that Taissa's character would receive more attention in Season 3 and gave some hints about what viewers can expect from her storyline going forward.
According to Cypress, Taissa's story doesn't play a major role in Yellowjackets Season 2. The man with no eyes, who has been haunting Taissa, won't feature much in this season. Instead, the focus is on the "fun shenanigans" between the girls.
However, Episode 4 sees Taissa's fugue state taking more control, leading her on a road trip to meet with Van (Lauren Ambrose) in a small town. Taissa's past with her Yellowjackets teammates is also explored.

Taissa and Van's Reunion
The reunion between Taissa and Van will likely be tense, as they haven't seen each other in decades. However, they will be forced to confront their past feelings and the events of the fateful winter when they were stranded in the wilderness.
Taissa is struggling with her alternate self and the supernatural elements that seem to be connected to it. Her marriage has fallen apart, and she has even sacrificed her family pet.
Vanessa may be her only hope to finally rid herself of her alternate self and the man with no eyes.

Looking Ahead to Yellowjackets Season 3
Cypress promises that Taissa's character will have a more substantial role in Yellowjackets Season 3, and viewers can expect to get some real answers about what's going on with her. The focus will be on Taissa's journey and her attempts to understand and overcome her alternate self.
The man with no eyes will also be explored further, and viewers may finally get some answers about his true identity.
Yellowjackets fans can look forward to more Taissa in Season 3 as her character takes center stage. With her past and present colliding, Taissa must confront her demons and find a way to move forward.
