Wyatt Russell isn't by any means a newbie in the world of acting but it can't be denied that his career was launched to the stratosphere after portraying John Walker aka Captain America/US Agent in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Now, we still don't know when John Walker will make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but with reports of Marvel Studios developing a Thunderbolts project, that seems to be the likeliest route for the actor.

However, it looks like the studio's plans for the villain-led project still aren't set in stone and according to Russell himself, he's yet to get the go-signal from Kevin Feige and his team. Speaking with The Digital Fix, the son of screen legend and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Kurt Russell claims that he's still waiting for the studio's call.

He shares: "I'm still waiting. I know they're doing it. I know that they're planning it. I gotta imagine that there's something in there for me. But yeah, until you get that true actual prompt, like, 'Okay, this is your start date. And this is when you're coming, and this is when you rent your house, and this is when logistically you need to start setting up to do these things.' That's when I shift my mindset to going to do that, you know? Other than that, before you get that call, things can change on a dime, you never know."

Well, considering he was the first person recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to join her elite group of supervillains, it's already a no-brainer for the US Agent to be involved in the Thunderbolts project. The real question is, despite being given the chance to redeem himself, why is he aligning himself with Valentina?
