Wonder Woman 3: Patty Jenkins Possibly Confirmed 4th Wonder Woman Film

In case you missed it, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Wonder Woman 3 is already in development. But is it possible that a fourth film is also being planned? Director Patty Jenkins may have confirmed that there are two more Wonder Woman movies to look forward to after Wonder Woman 1984.

Jenkins previously spoke to Entertainment Weekly while promoting Wonder Woman 1984 where she admitted that Diana Prince's story is far from over.

"The story continues after this in movies that I may or may not direct," Jenkins said. "I have two more stories that become the completion of this story and it's all about women stepping in as women, in the most loving kind pure and natural way. And making a difference in the world without having to change who they are to do it."

It's important to note that Jenkins said these before it was confirmed that she and Gal Gadot will be returning for Wonder Woman 3. It's unclear if the "stories" that she mentioned will both be adapted in the third movie. On the other hand, Warner Bros. might be interested in producing more Wonder Woman films considering how the second one did so well this weekend.

Wonder Woman 1984 is arguably the first major comic book movie to be released during the COVID-19 era and it proved to be a success despite being screened in a limited number of theaters. It was previously reported that the sequel brought in an amazing $85 million globally during its opening weekend alone.
