It seems like the whole world has been waiting for the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 for way too long. Luckily, we're only a few days away from seeing Diana Prince back in action. Gal Gadot has somehow confirmed that the first teaser will be dropped at the upcoming 2019 Comic Con Experience.

The confirmation comes from a special Wonder Woman 1984 mailer ahead of CCXP in Brazil (via Twitter). In addition to several goodies, there's a note from Gadot with an interesting message. Check it out below.

The note reads, "I wish I could be in the UK to share the brand new trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 with you in person…but please join Patty Jenkins and me in São Paulo, Brazil via @WonderWomanFilm on Twitter this Sunday to watch it live!"

That's probably the best early Christmas present we could get from Gadot. Needless to say, we're already looking forward to the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer this weekend.

There's a good reason why fans are already getting impatient about the movie. After all, it was originally scheduled to premiere in November this year but had to be pushed back to a much later release date in June. Nevertheless, we're glad to know that we'll finally get our first glimpse at Gadot's Amazonian demigoddess this Sunday.

The premise of Wonder Woman 1984 reads as follows:

"Diana Prince comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s and finds a formidable foe by the name of the Cheetah."

The first Wonder Woman 1984 trailer will be dropped at CCXP on December 8. The movie is scheduled for release on June 5, 2020.
