Wonder Woman 1984 Photos Give Closer Look at Diana’s New Armor, Her Lasso, and Steve

Wonder Woman 1984 is making its way to cinemas this summer, and everyone's excited to see Gal Gadot return with a new set of armor to wear and a new set of villains to face.

Entertainment Weekly just recently featured the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe comic book movie in its most recent issue and thanks to the publication fans get a brand new look at Diana Prince in her new armor and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) on a landing strip.

The entertainment news outlet just recently released three brand new photos taken from the Wonder Woman sequel and in the first photo, we get to see Diana in her brand new golden armor. The armor is something that comic book readers might recognize from the comics, and the photo gives us a closer look at how ornate and spectacular the design really is. The armor seems to be a different kind of gold, one that shimmers and reflects light in different ways.

Costume designer Lindy Hemming explains that the effect was deliberate. The costume designer felt that was important that the "in the light it's always liquid, moving. There's a feeling of non-flatness…. Because in the comics, she does fight her mightiest battles in the golden suit."

The outfit is hands-down gorgeous, and we definitely can't wait to see her fighting with her new armor.

The second image features Wonder Woman in her classic outfit. This time we get to see Diana in action, fighting with her Golden Lasso in the White House. Steve Trevor can be seen fighting someone in the background.

The third photo gives us a look at Diana walking Steve Trevor through all the sights and sounds that the new era brings.

These photos definitely add to the hype for Wonder Woman 1984. We can't wait to see new footage when Warner Brothers releases a brand new trailer for the movie.

Wonder Woman 1984 premieres June 5, 2020.
