Among the sea of anime announcements at this year’s Anime Expo, the release date window of the upcoming fantasy anime, Witch Hat Atelier, has been confirmed.
It’s good news for fans who can’t wait to see the aspiring witch Coco cast magic spells one after the other in this new fantasy anime!
Witch Hat Atelier Anime Confirms 2025 Release Window
At this year’s Anime Expo, the Witch Hat Atelier panel revealed that the fantasy anime based on Kamome Shirahama’s manga series of the same name is getting a 2025 release window.
Along with the announcement, a new promotional video showing the main character Coco has been unveiled, in addition to the new key visual, as shown below:
It has been confirmed that Ayumu Watanabe (After the Rain, Ace Attorney) is directing Witch Hat Atelier at BUG FILMS, the same studio behind Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead.
It’s expected that the main cast for the series will be announced at a later date.
Witch Hat Atelier Anime Release Date Predictions
The exact release date of the Witch Hat Atelier anime adaptation is not yet confirmed, but it is slated to premiere sometime in 2025.
If the anime’s production is well underway, there’s a huge chance that it could debut its first episode in mid-2025, probably in the first month of the spring or summer season.
Should it debut in spring, it’s expected to premiere on the first week of April 2025, but if it arrives in the summer season, it’s expected to debut on the first week of July 2025.
Depending on the anime’s production, viewers could wait longer or shorter than anticipated.
Crunchyroll to Stream Witch Hat Atelier
It has been confirmed that Crunchyroll will stream the Witch Hat Atelier anime on its platform as it airs in Japan.
It will be streamed in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS.
It is expected to be available in Japanese audio with English subtitles, and most likely in English dub at a later date.
There’s no word on whether other streaming services will distribute the anime once it airs, so stay tuned for more information ahead of the release of Witch Hat Atelier.
