Will This House of the Dragon Writer Make Marvel's Upcoming Series Just as Epic?

Game of Thrones was undeniably one of the best shows, so when its prequel, House of the Dragon, premiered, the production made sure it would live up to expectations.

Variety reported that House of the Dragon had an average of 29 million viewers per episode, and its season 1 finale was the biggest HBO season finale since Game of Thrones.

Given the impressive viewership, one can attest that the GoT prequel series had effective writing that made the audience engage, which is also expected to continue in season 2.

With HOTD's competent slew of writers, MCU fans are delighted to know that one of its writers has been added to the production of Marvel Studios’ upcoming show, Vision Quest.

“‘House of the Dragon’ writer Eileen Shim joins ‘VISION QUEST’! Eileen Shim has written episode 8 of ‘House of the Dragon’: “The Lord of the Tides” which has the highest rating of the season!” wrote @ScarletWitchUpd.

WandaVision was Phase 4’s successful offering, and given that it’s only a limited series, it left questions and interest for the viewers that could be answered in two of its spinoffs, Vision Quest and Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

Deadline confirmed last year that Vision (Paul Bettany) would return in his own Disney+ show. At the end of WandaVision, it was seen that Hex Vision was destroyed when Wanda removed her spell.

But White Vision, who made his debut in the show, will be the center of Vision Quest, with Jac Schaeffer once again in charge of the production after serving as writer and executive producer for WandaVision.

As usual, plot and character details are being held by Marvel, so fans can only hope for now that the upcoming Disney+ series will not disappoint, especially now that one of the HOTD writers is going to take part in it.

Vision Quest will reportedly enter production sometime in 2024, with a release date soon to follow.
