Well, here we go again discussing everyone’s favorite isekai anime, How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom. Once Part 2 of the anime ends, will there be a Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom?

It’s amazing how far the anime has gone after its first part premiered in 2021. J.C. Staff, the animation studio, has been working so hard that they also labored in the anime’s part 2 which is airing alongside anime titles in the Winter 2022 slate. If part 2 of the anime is perceived well by the viewers, it is likely that they will work on Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom follows the story of Kazuya Souma as he gets transported (or isekai’d) to another world to help save a falling kingdom from its untimely demise.

Unlike other isekai anime where the transported character becomes an overpowered MC who eventually defeats the demons and monsters in the end, Kazuya Souma aids the kingdom through means of government reforms, economic development, and financial growth. This kind of concept also makes the plot narrative of the anime unique from other isekai titles.

Aside from its interesting concept, the anime also educates the viewers about different economic, financial, and political jargon which is very uncommon from other anime. However, all these elements aside, the anime is not an exception to the isekai tropes like traveling to other regions, wooing every waifu in sight, an unintentional harem, and eventually the goal of going back home.

Moreover, the critics are also very particular about 19-year-old Kazuya Souma. Apparently, his knowledge of economics, politics, and financial information are not believable for his age. They said that he knows way too much, to the point that it is almost unbelievable. Anyway, the anime’s premise will not be interesting per se if Kazuya’s knowledge of formal jargon is below-average.

If you are an avid isekai fan, then this anime is a perfect fit for you. When I actually watched it, the anime is a bit compelling making it hard to put down. Aside from that, the anime is a fresh take in the isekai genre.

If part 2 of the anime has been well-received by the viewers, it is likely that the creators will bring another season to add to the story of Kazuya and the others. Perhaps, they will announce it at the end of the anime or confirm it on their official website.

If Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is confirmed, it is assumed to be released in the same anime season, Winter, just like its predecessors. Most likely, Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom will premiere in January 2023 as soon as it is confirmed.

Also, the anime still has a lot of source material to cover from the comedy and fantasy light novel of Dozeumaru. Given the ratings of 7.40 from MAL and 6.40 average votes from the Anime Database, it seems like Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is plausible.

Furthermore, the anime still has a lot of unresolved plot narratives so it is in our best interest to speculate that the creators are gearing up for another season. Season 3 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom will do no harm to anyone, after all.
