Will Spider-Man: Far from Home Give Peter His Own Lab to Invent Spider-Suits?

When Tom Holland's Spider-Man was introduced in the MCU, he was made to be a rough-around-the-edges hero that made do with what he had. He has since gotten several upgraded suits from Iron Man, but it looks like this latest movie will give Peter a Spider-Lab of his own.

Check out this still from the film with the comic-accurate Iron Spider suit:

The way it looks, Peter has his own lab with holograms and other tech gear that would help him make specialized suits. My guess is that it will be given to him by Pepper Potts who knows that Tony saw him as his protégé. Even the way Peter is messing with the holograms is reminiscent of the way Tony built his modern suits in the first Iron Man.

My guess is that Spider-Man ends up doing SHIELD missions as the Black Spider to avoid being recognized as Spider-Man in Europe. He gets the portable lab in the end of the second act, and he creates the red and black Spider-Man suit that we've been seeing in the posters for the final battle.

Again, this is just my speculation. I'm completely fine if the movie ends up surprising us all.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home in theaters July 2.
