Will Bucky Get a Haircut in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Series?

With Captain America officially retired, the story will go on with his partners Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. The two are set to star in their own Disney+ series, and though we haven't gotten any official updates, Sebastian Stan teases he could get a new look for Bucky.

During his panel at MCM London (via ComicBook), Stan was asked if Bucky would ‘let his hair down' in the show, to which he replies:

"His hair is down… Listen, the whole weave thing it's just, it's way too, I don't know. Maybe he has a haircut. I don't know, I don't know. I don't know anything. I don't know yet. We'll see."

By far, the shortest we've got of Bucky's hair was during The First Avengers when he was still working with Captain America. Since his reintroduction in The Winter Soldier, Bucky has always had his hair long and untied—admittedly weird for someone who does a lot of action in the field. I mean, doesn't it get in the way when he's moving around a lot?

With every Marvel installment, there's always a new look, and I'm sure we're going to see a very different Falcon and Winter Soldier in the series. Will Falcon finally become Captain America in the show? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. For now, it looks like the show will just deal with the two trying to cope with Cap gone from the Avengers.

Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set to come out on August 2020.
