The recent episode of South Park titled "Sora Not Sorry" has given "nightmares" to some fans due to a certain disturbing moment involving US President Donald Trump.
Since its premiere episode last summer, the hit animated series has been relentlessly poking fun at Trump and the key officials in his administration, which prompted a backlash response from the White House. Recently, the creators defended their creative decision and explained why they decided to focus on Trump throughout the current season.
Why South Park Fans Are Having Nightmares Over the Recent Episode

The recent episode of South Park titled "Sora Not Sorry" focused on Butters using the Sora 2 AI software to create a porn video of himself performing sexual acts with cartoon characters.
However, that wasn't the part that disturbed fans, as the episode also featured a storyline involving Trump and Vice President JD Vance engaging in an intimate homoerotic sexual act.
Fans were surprised that the series managed to take a big swing in the episode with the Trump characters and joked on their social media reactions that they've been "traumatized" and having "nightmares" because of the scene.
One X user wrote, "Thanks for the nightmares I'm gonna have tonight, South Park."
Another X user also wrote, "South Park is definitely going to trigger another White House response tomorrow bc holy s***."
In another post, a fan has described the shocking Trump/Vance relationship in the episode as "yaoi," referencing a popular manga genre that depicts a homoerotic relationship between two men.
It remains to be seen whether the episode will prompt backlash from the White House again, but this is definitely the biggest skewering that the series has done so far against Trump and the biggest button they've pushed.
When is the Next Episode of South Park?
The current season of South Park is running on a bi-weekly release schedule, with the next episode expected to broadcast on November 26. They are expected to air new episodes until December 10, completing their ten-episode run this year.
So far, the plot details on what to expect in the next episode are still under wraps, since the episodes are usually produced days before their broadcast air date.
Before the recent episode, the series aired a Halloween-themed episode last October 31, where the White House deals with a disruptive spirit in the East Wing while Stan worries that South Park has become too political.
