Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba takes viewers to a thrilling adventure of killing demons and saving, in a way, humanity. The series follows Tanjiro Kamado who joined the Demon Slayer corps in order to turn his sister, Nezuko, back into a human.

Why Is Tanjiro’s Head So Hard and Strong?
One factor that makes Tanjiro different from other demon slayers is that his head is so hard, it can be compared to a rock. Fans believe that the reason for this is that it is connected with Tanjiro’s personality. He is determination is so solid that nothing can stop him.
Before becoming a demon slayer, Tanjiro is a coal seller. This could mean he did a lot of hard labor work, improving the strength of his whole body. Another known fact is that Tanjiro trained for two whole years, which could also be another factor for his head to be unbreakable.
Tanjiro’s strong head was mentioned a couple of times throughout the manga and anime. One best example was when Tanjiro headbutt Inosuke and the latter became unconscious. Imagine being hit that hard you actually lost consciousness?
Although there was no reason given by the creator to answer this, we can assume that the abovementioned reasons can be added factors to Tanjiro’s stiff head. Whatever the reason may be, he did use his head to his advantage and won a couple of small fights.
Another notable feature that Tanjiro has is his nose can smell different types of blood and even recognize someone’s emotions. Amazing, right?
