What Is the Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? Anime About?
The five races on Earth – humans, the Wild God Race, the Demonic Race, the Spirit Race, and the Phantom Beast Race are in a brutal conflict with each other. But when the war ended, the humans emerged victorious.
Legend holds that Prophet Sid sealed the other four races within the now-dubbed Crypts, a mysterious black pyramid.
Assigned to watch the Crypts and ensure their unaltered state, Kai also dedicates himself to training in anticipation of protecting humanity when the sealed races break free and return.
Today, the Crypts appear tranquil, but Kai’s perception shifts abruptly as the world distorts before his eyes.
The activation of World Rebirth transports Kai to an entirely unknown world where he is a stranger to all, yet he retains memories of everyone he once knew.
The landscape of Kai’s existence undergoes a profound transformation.
The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Kei Suzune and illustrated by neco.

The Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? anime is scheduled to be released sometime in 2024. However, the staff of the anime has yet to announce the exact release date.
In 2024, fans will get to see three TV anime adaptations of Kei Sazane’s light novel series such as Gods' Games We Play, Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?, and Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2.
