Why Did Itsuki Kick Out Rishia from His Team in Shield Hero?
It was confirmed that Rishia was expelled because there were false accusations about her. These were made by her own companions as they wanted to get revenge on her after her decisive role during the Calmira Islands wave.
This was not surprising as Rishia was not treated properly from the start. After she joined Itsuki’s team, she was treated badly by everyone, including him. The main reason was her background and the hierarchy system he built for his comrades.
She was hurt by the sudden abandonment and decided to just drown herself. Her mind changed when she found out that another Shield Hero experienced the same injustice that she was experiencing. Naofumi decided to take her in and promised her that he will help her train.
Naofumi did his research on Rishia to know more about her and discover more ways to help her become stronger. He found out that she had good grades but had to stop school because of financial problems. Rishia might be shy but she is affectionate and would do anything she can for the object of her affection.
With this, it was no longer a surprise that her admiration for Itsuki was still there, despite the decision he made to kick her out of the team. She hopes that one day, when she is stronger, the two of them can meet again and she would help him in return for the kindness he gave her before.
