Who is Hyun Su-Hyeon?
Hyun Su-Hyeon (Han Soo-Yeon) is the deceased mother of the lead actors in Wedding Impossible, Lee Ji-Han (Moon Sang-Min) and Lee Do-Han (Kim Do-Wan).
It was revealed that she died in a car accident with Ji-Han riding in the backseat of the car. Their grandfather, Chairman Hyun Dae-Ho (Kwon Hae-Hyo), managed to save Ji-Han.
Ever since the incident, Ji-Han has grown traumatized by the rain. He can't help but blame himself for the reason behind his mother's death. It also doesn't help that the chairman cannot accept Ji-Han as his grandson, and probably blames him for the loss too.
Su-Hyeon also has two other children with her first husband, Choi Joong-Chan (Jeon Jin-Ki). Choi Min-Woong (Hong-In) and Choi Seung-A (Park Ah-In) are the villains in the K-Drama series.
Despite being older and the legitimate children of Su-Hyeon, the chairman insists on handing over his business to Do-Han. This angers Joong-Chan and Min-Woong, who are plotting to stop Do-Han's succession before it's too late.

Who Killed Hyun Su-Hyeon in Wedding Impossible? Fans Make Guesses
Su-Hyeon's appearance in Wedding Impossible comes in the form of flashback scenes. With the secrecy behind her death, viewers believe there's really more to it than just a traffic accident caused by the heavy rains.
In Wedding Impossible episode 7, reporter Kang Ik-Jun (Shin Mun-Sung) meets up with Seung-A after trailing Do-Han. Seung-A has ordered him to dig up dirt on her half-brother so they can use it to stop his succession from happening.
When Ik-Jun asks for his name to be cleared behind Su-Hyeon's murder, Seung-A gets mad. She tells the reporter that he is not off the hook just because she has asked him to spy on her half-brother.
This brings us to an interesting question: Who killed Hyun Su-Hyeon in Wedding Impossible?
According to fan theories, the accident could have been caused by Su-Hyeon's lover (Do-Han and Ji-Han's father) or her own husband.
However, since Su-Hyeon's husband was previously the mayor of Seoul, the case was buried and ruled as an accident. The chairman also refused to have the case further investigated.
Still, it doesn't help Ji-Han, who is convinced he had something to do with his mother's death.
