Charles Cosby is a former drug dealer who became connected with crime lord Angela Blanco in 1992.

In the 2008 documentary Cocaine Cowboys 2 (full title: Cocaine Cowboys II: Hustlin' With the Godmother) Cosby appears as himself.

The crime documentary recounts his experiences as a cocaine dealer in Oakland, California, in the 1990s.

According to the documentary, Cosby first communicated with Blanco via correspondence while she was in prison.

However, they soon met in person and started a relationship although Blanco was significantly older.

Bianco was assassinated in 2012, but she and Cosby had parted ways long before that.

According to Cocaine Cowboys 2, Blanco and Cosby's relationship ended when Jorge "Rivi" Ayala, Blanco's former hitman agreed to testify against her.

In response, Blanco reportedly attempted to plan the kidnapping of John F. Kennedy Jr.

In 2022, talking at the On The Spot At The Spot podcast, Cosby mentioned his misgivings about this plan.

Both the podcast and the documentary explain how Blanco's plans failed, although the case against her did not go as planned either.

Blanco completed a prison sentence in 2004, after which she was deported from the United States.

Cosby moved on from drug dealing and his story is available through his documentary and a limited number of public appearances.

Where Is Cosby Now?

As of writing, little is known about Charles Cosby's life other than what information he has chosen to share in Cocaine Cowboy 2 and other media.

Following an intense early life of crime that he describes both in the documentary and in his book Hustling with the Godmother: My Life and Times with Griselda Blanco he likely preferred to keep a low profile and live a regular life.

In his 2022 appearance in On The Spot At The Spot, Cosby encouraged viewers to be on the lookout for his future film directed by Wes Miller (A Day to Die, River Runs Red).
