Just like the original K-Drama series, Strong Girl Nam-soon features a typical love triangle between two guys and one girl. In this case, however, the two guys who are fighting over Nam-soon are polar opposites. So who does Nam-soon end up with in Strong Girl Nam-soon?
It's actually a no-brainer. Nam-soon ends up with someone in the season finale. The big question is, however, who will that guy be?
Who Does Nam-soon End Up With in Strong Girl Nam-soon?
When the show first started, we learned that Nam-soon (played by Lee Yoo-mi) has a major crush on Cha Eun-woo and plans to marry a Korean man once she finds her biological family.
But when she lands in Korea, she comes across a lieutenant who inspects her belongings for any drugs. This guy is none other than Gang Hee-sik (played by Ong Seong-wu), whom she calls Gang Homesick.
Meanwhile, Nam-soon doesn't realize that she actually caught the eye of someone else while they were still on the tarmac: Ryu Shi-oh (played by Byeon Woo-seok).
So between these two, who does Nam-soon end up with?
Gang Hee-sik
Although the episodes of Strong Girl Nam-soon are still being released, we can't help but confirm she will end up with Hee-sik. After all, it looks like their relationship has been on the cards since Nam-soon threw a trinket and Hee-sik caught it.
Not to mention, the undeniable chemistry of the two makes this a strong case to believe in.
It's also worth noting that Hee-sik has earned the favor of Nam-soon's own mother, Hwang Geum-joo (played by Kim Jung-eun), ever since he helped reunite the two. Hee-sik was also asked what his relationship with Nam-soon was at a family dinner. He simply responded they needed each other.
Nam-soon also playfully professed her feelings to Hee-sik in Mongolian, a language that Hee-sik doesn't understand.
Ryu Shi-oh
But then again, the villain in the story has been smitten by Nam-soon. Even though he's the villain, many are shipping their tandem.
He has invited Nam-soon to be part of his inner circle and to drop the honorifics when talking to him. In one of the episodes, it also appears like Nam-soon cares for the antagonist.
But of course, we shouldn't think anything from this since she is simply getting on his good side.
