Where to Watch Will Smith Slap Chris Rock Uncensored

Aside from the winners of different categories and Beyonce's performance, another highlight of the Oscars was the slapping incident between Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock, which instantly went viral.

In the video, Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved hair referencing it to the 1997 film, G.I Jane, Rock says, "Jada, can't wait for G.I. Jane 2." While it appears that Jada's husband laughing with Rock's joke, a few seconds later, Will Smith furiously went to the stage slapping Chris Rock's face.

While everyone thought this is just another skit for the Oscars, fellow stars and nominees finally got an idea that Will Smith was seriously enraged, yelling, "Keep my wife's name out of your f****** mouth."

Well, that's something we don't see every day.

But why is this G.I Jane joke very offending for Jada Pinkett Smith?

Jada Pinkett Smith went on to the 94th Academy Awards, rocking her shaved hair look together with well-acclaimed actor Will Smith, who is nominated for the best actor category for his latest film, King Richard. Chris Rock, on the other hand, referenced Jada to Demi Moore's character in 1997's G.I Jane as Jordan O’Neil, who shaved her head just to join the army.

However, for Jada, it isn't just her fashion choice. Jada revealed last year that she is suffering from alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes rapid hair loss in the scalp, eyebrows, and even eyelashes. After suffering from the disease for so long, Jada made an empowering decision to just shave her head.

Now, we all know why Will Smith is very furious about Chris Rock's joke. Joking about someone's disease will always be out of line, and comedian Chris Rock certainly learned this lesson in a very hard way.
