- Quick Summary: Both IT movies are available on HBO Max, Crave (Canada), and NOW (UK), with IT: Chapter Two also streaming on Netflix (UK). Meanwhile, the spinoff series IT: Welcome to Derry is available to stream on HBO Max.
Andy Muschietti’s IT movies have earned their spot among the best Stephen King adaptations ever to hit the big screen, and for good reason.
They balance bone-chilling horror with heartfelt coming-of-age moments, all wrapped around Bill Skarsgård’s nightmare-fuel performance as Pennywise. Even years later, these films remain a Halloween favorite for fans who crave scares with a side of nostalgia.
If you’re ready to revisit Derry (or float there for the first time), here’s where you can stream both IT movies, along with VPN recommendations if you can't find either of the films on the streaming platform where you live.
Where to Watch the IT Movies
Fortunately, both parts of the IT movies are available to stream on a major platform, allowing you to watch them back-to-back anytime at your convenience, especially in the spooky season.

How to Watch the IT Movies Anywhere in the World

A VPN virtually changes your location and bypasses geo-blocks, making it appear as if you’re accessing the films in a country where they’re available. Just be careful with streaming terms of service, as they may restrict certain VPN usage.

While there are no plans for subsequent IT movies, there is a prequel series titled IT: Welcome to Derry available on HBO Max.
The story takes place in 1962, when a couple with their son move to Derry, Maine, just as a young boy disappears. As they arrive in town, very bad things begin to terrorize the community.
The cast includes Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård, reprising the role of Pennywise.
The first season consists of eight episodes, and a second season has already been confirmed.
