Recently, Scott Patterson, who played Luke Danes, discussed the possibility of doing another revival of the series and teased that it might only happen if Lauren Graham and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino are on board.
- "I think if Amy is talking about maybe a Christmas special and then Lauren is repeating that, I think there’s intention there. So I am ever hopeful and I think the fans are too," he said. "This is the one question that [fans] have in common, and I wish I had a definitive answer, but I don’t."
Earlier this year, Palladino also commented on the possibility of doing another Gilmore Girls revival sometime in the future.
