Where to Watch Animals
Current streaming availability by region:
United States

- Netflix
Because Animals is a Netflix original movie, it is exclusive to the platform. That means it's not available on competing streaming services or through premium video-on-demand (PVOD) platforms such as Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV. You’ll need an active Netflix subscription to watch it.
How to Stream Animals if It's Unavailable Where You Live
If Animals isn't available in your local Netflix library, it's probably because of regional licensing restrictions.
A VPN is one solution to consider, allowing you to connect to servers in other countries to make it appear as though you're browsing from a different location. This may allow you to access that country's Netflix library, as long as you comply with the terms of service.

Is Animals Worth Watching?
As of this writing, Animals has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 32%, indicating that it has received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics.
Kevin Maher of The Times (UK) had a mixed reaction to the film as he wrote:
- "The kidnapping story never fully makes sense, while the film’s lack of interest in the villain is shameful. But this is mostly guilty pleasure fun, and Affleck is too good a filmmaker to produce a genuine misfire."
Brian Tallerico of RogerEbert.com called Animals "easily Affleck’s worst directorial effort, a movie that clearly went through the Rewrite Machine a dozen or so times, losing important things like theme, focus, character, and tension."
Nick Schager of The Daily Beast criticized the film as "an unoriginal and suspense-free tale of the haves and the have-nots, told with minimal flair, even less vigor, and almost no interest in its central complications."
While the movie was not universally praised by critics, there were still highlights that make it worth watching, as its above-average 5.7 rating on IMDb suggests. So, if you want to give this movie a chance, head over to Netflix to stream it today!
