Is American Hostage Already Renewed for Season 2?
As of this writing, American Hostage has not been renewed for a second season, though with Season 1 here, a decision on its renewal might be made soon.
In an interview with Collider, co-creator Eileen Myers confirmed that they already have ideas for the show's next installment, but they did not share any details. She said:
- "One of the other executive producers, Sharon Hoffman, and I would be taking over showrunning duties for season 2, should that come to pass. We do have an idea..."
So, it would seem there are storyline plans for a second season; the show just hasn't had its second season greenlit yet. For now, fans should wait for news and updates in the coming weeks or months regarding what's next for the anthology series.
