Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte Discuss Roles in Akka
Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte play Bhavani and Rudra, respectively, in Akka, portraying two formidable women with different ambitions and beliefs.
These differences fuel a gripping rivalry between the two, resulting in a conflict that threatens to disrupt the established order.
According to Suresh, her role portrays a woman who knows what she stands for and is willing to go to great lengths to protect her legacy, but not everything comes easily to her. She explained:
- “What makes her interesting is that beneath her strength and authority are choices that are never easy, especially when the stakes are so high.”
Meanwhile, Apte described her character as someone who refuses to be defined by the circumstances she finds herself in.
- “She is fierce, has her own ambitions, and is willing to challenge the established order, which makes her a fascinating character to explore.”
Beyond the conflicts and the question of who holds the real power, Apte added that fans should see the “contrasting worldviews come to life through Rudra and Bhavani.”
As their rivalry intensifies, Akka promises to explore how ambition, power, and opposing beliefs can reshape the fate of an entire sisterhood.
