Unlike the other films in the franchise, The First Omen is the only one that disrupts the chronological order of the movies. The other films were released in the right order as a sequel to the film released before it.

So where does The First Omen fit into the timeline, especially since there are already five movies in existence?

As the title suggests, The First Omen is a prequel to the original horror film that was released in 1976.

The film is also set sometime between 1970 and 1971 since it covers the birth of Damien.

The story of The First Omen follows an American woman, called Margaret Daino (played by Nell Tiger Free), who was assigned to work in an Italian church.

While she is there, Margaret unearths a sinister plan to bring to life the Antichrist, whose birthday marks a significant date and time.

The original The Omen film revealed that Damien was born on June 6, 1971, at 6:00 am. This is also the sixth hour of the sixth day of the sixth month, which means 666, the symbol of the Antichrist.

With his birth, the progression of The Omen movies continues.
