She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man is a Japanese novel illustrated by Fuzichoco and written by Hirotsugu Ryusen. It was released on Shosetsuka ni Naro, a user-generated novel website. Eventually, Micro Magazine acquired a license to release the series under its GC Novels imprint in 2014.

The novel was adapted into a manga in 2016 and was serialized in Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride. In 2022, Studio A-Cat released an anime adaptation of the popular series.

The anime is about Sakimori Kagami who was sucked into his favorite video game called Arch Earth Online. He was originally adjusting his character, Dunbalf, an old male sorcerer.

In the game, Sakimori is inhabiting Dunbalf body, but to his surprise, the body was a young woman’s. Sakimori was left with no choice but to pretend that he was Dunbalf’s pupil instead.
