If you haven't seen a Marvel movie yet and are planning to see Avengers: Endgame, you are going to be very confused. While the movie will probably have some exposition about previous events, those that aren't familiar with the MCU are going to be in the deep end of this continuity pool. Thankfully, The Russo Brothers are here to give you two movies you should consider seeing before watching Endgame.

During an interview with Fandango, the directing duo was asked about making their movies accessible to anyone who hasn't seen a Marvel movie. Most Marvel movies try to be standalone, with only a few succeeding in that direction, but when you consider how much continuity is needed to appreciate Endgame, simplifying this to two movies is hard.

Unsurprisingly, the duo recommended two movies they directed: Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

Honestly, fans are better off trying to binge watch all the MCU movies, but these two are the most essential when it comes to required viewing. I mean, Infinity War is literally the first part of Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
