The rumor seems to have originated on TikTok, where a now-deleted video claimed Ian had died.
Ian took this time to open a TikTok account where he shared his first video. In the video, he thanked his followers for the "warm welcome."
Shortly after the video went up, James Charles left a comment poking fun at the rumors that his brother had died.
