We've been having a drought of Marvel material ever since Spider-Man: Far from Home came out, but now everyone is going crazy over the teaser for Black Widow. Like with every trailer nowadays, fans have come online to dissect every possible clue in the preview, and Mr. Sunday Movies gives us his in-depth analysis.
While we don't really get to see him wield it in the trailer, we actually get a clip of Taskmaster's shield embedded in the ground during his fight with Red Guardian. RG actually has his own shield in the comics, and I was kind of puzzled as to why they don't show him having one in the teaser. If you ask me, they probably digitally removed it so it can be some kind of surprise when the movie comes out. After Avengers: Endgame, you can't really trust Marvel trailers anymore.
Besides that, I didn't know that Widow's white suit was actually from the comics. My guess is it's only going to be used temporarily in the film. It would be weird if we ended the movie called Black Widow with her in a white suit.
We don't have a full synopsis for the movie yet, but we do know that it will delve deep into Natasha Romanoff's past. While the main timeline is said to take place between the events of Civil War and Infinity War, a de-aged shot of William Hurt has lead fans to believe we may go even further in the past, possibly during the time of Romanoff's recruitment for SHIELD.
