SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
While there are a lot of callbacks in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, probably the most cameo-heavy scene is the climax where Rey starts hearing all the voices of the past Jedi. While we have a breakdown of everyone who lent their voice in the end-credits, Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube has tried to break down the sequence and list down every Jedi speaking, and what lines they said.
Check it out:
Since there isn’t an official audio breakdown of the voices yet, it’s possible that Mr. Sunday has some mistakes, but nevertheless, it’s very interesting to see what exactly each voice said.
While we have voices from main characters like Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Yoda, the movie has also brought back some characters from the extended series like Rebels and The Clone Wars. Probably the most famous are of Kannan Jarus and Ahsoka Tano, but we also get some side characters like Luminara Unduli and Aayla Secura as well. Even Mace Windu got to chime in as well as Qui-Gon Jinn.
While this would have been a prime moment for a Force Ghost reunion, I guess it would have been hard having to recreate someone like Alec Guinness for old Ben. Besides, the movie would have to cast all the other Jedi in live-action. If anything, I could have used that visual instead of young Luke and Leia doing Jedi training.
For now, you can catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in theaters.
