With Sony recently buying the film rights to Valiant Comics, fans have been anticipating the very first trailer to Bloodshot, which will be the first film in the presumed Valiant cinematic universe. It will feature Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel and is going to be directed by Dave Wilson in his feature film debut. Recently speaking with ComicBook.com, we finally have a release window for the film's first trailer.
During his chat with the website, Wilson revealed that the trailer will be coming out this October, though he didn't give a specific date in the month. Wilson also revealed that the film has been in post-production for a while and that has a lot of us excited. Here's hoping that the movie lives up to our expectations since Valiant is home to a lot of quality comic books and we would like to see them represented properly.
Here's what Wilson had to say about the trailer's October release:
It's going to be interesting to see how Bloodshot will be handled on the big screen since he isn't your typical superhero character. Admittedly, non-Captain America super-soldier films aren't new either but this should still be a fun movie. As someone who hasn't read too many Valiant Comics, I'm hoping this is satisfying for those that don't know the series too well.
Bloodshot will be coming out on February 21, 2020.
