Venom Star Tom Hardy Shares First Look at Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady

Venom 2 will reportedly come out in October of this year and fans are excited to see more of the symbiote anti-hero in action. With reports of more Spider-Man-related antics in the sequel, along with Carnage making his live-action debut as a big villain, we're more than excited to see what the follow-up has in-store for us. Tom Hardy, the film's leading star, has decided to indulge us for a bit by revealing our first look at Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady.

Granted, this isn't the first time we've seen Harrelson as the iconic ‘90s villain since he did appear at the post-credits sequence of Venom but the picture Hardy shares does show him out of prison. His hair is less wildly compared to the last time we saw him and that should be a fun little detail. Hopefully, we get our first look at Cletus as Carnage soon, especially since the movie is supposed to come out later this year.

This is one of the two Sony-Marvel movies coming out in 2020, with Morbius also slated for release on July 31. We doubt that Jared Leto's vampire-like anti-hero will be appearing in the sequel to Venom but fans wouldn't mind a quick cameo in the post-credits sequence. We're also expecting some sort of appearance from Tom Holland's Spider-Man, which will likely be a quick cameo.

What will this iteration of Carnage look like? Stay tuned as we wait for more information on Venom 2, which will probably get a trailer sooner or later. The movie is currently scheduled for October 2, 2020.
