Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have reportedly called it quits after seven months of dating amid worsening Beckham family drama.
Allegedly, Brooklyn Beckham didn’t attend dad David Beckham’s grand 50th birthday bash because Turnbull, who he used to date, was there.
As the brothers were said to have fallen out over Turnbull, was the family rift to blame for their breakup?
Why Did Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull Part Ways?
Romeo and Turnbull publicly confirmed their romance in November 2024 and often expressed their love for each other in social media posts.
The two never hid their relationship, and Romeo even showed his affection for his then-girlfriend on Valentine’s Day.
However, several weeks after David’s birthday, the couple quietly parted ways. But amid the rumors that the family drama might have something to do with it, a source revealed it’s because they’re still young.
“Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together, but at that age, things don’t always last forever, and they decided to split up,” the insider told the Daily Mail.
“They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It’s a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy, but it wasn’t to be.”
Romeo’s alleged feud with his brother Brooklyn was also said not to be the reason for the split.
“David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola (Peltz) and Brooklyn because that simply isn’t the case,” the tipster added.
“The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of traveling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn’t all that conducive to their lives.”
A different source also told TMZ that Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz didn’t know Romeo and Turnbull’s breakup, as they haven’t spoken to them in months.

Turnbull and Brooklyn sparked dating rumors in 2017 after they were seen together multiple times in public.
However, at the time, the London-based model was said to be still dating Brooklyn’s friend. Since that year, the two were no longer seen together publicly.
So, when Romeo started dating Turnbull, he and Brooklyn allegedly stopped talking.
The older Beckham felt that Turnbull’s relationship with his younger brother wasn’t for “the right reasons.”
Although David and Victoria Beckham trusted Turnbull, Brooklyn didn’t. With that being said, the 26-year-old former model and Peltz didn’t want to be at any family gathering where Turnbull was present.
What hurt them the most was that they felt that David and Victoria seemed to favor Romeo and Turnbull over them.
Anyhow, a source told Page Six that Romeo and Brooklyn are not feuding over Turnbull, calling the rumors “nonsense.”
“It’s just an excuse to find an argument,” the insider revealed.
