Uncle From Another World has elements of both. Takafumi's uncle was truly isekai'd to another world back in the 90s when he fell into a coma, but now he's back and has a lot to catch up with.
So far, many of the viewers who were able to access the first episode of the show were left with positive impressions. So far, AtelierPontdarc didn't have a great reputation but the design of Uncle From Another World proved decent, and the anime looks pretty funny.
90s kids will likely enjoy the many references to classic videogames; Takafumi's uncle was an avid gamer, but he now has to adjust to a completely new level of technology.
Voice acting, of course, deserves its own shoutout; Takafumi is voiced by Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch from Code Geass, Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom, and many others) and his uncle is voiced by Takehito Koyasu (Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizare Adventure, Shinsuke Takasugi from Gintama).
