Style and fashion play an integral role in the career of K-pop idols. The same appears to apply to TXT Huening Kai and the rest of his co-members.
While the group’s maknae have already sported various looks and sartorial pieces in the last three years, some avid fans believe he has worn many yellow clothing items since his debut in 2019. This even sparked conversations among a few netizens on the online platform Quora.

Netizens Believe Kai Has Worn Yellow "So Much"
In one of the old threads from the platform, a netizen wondered why Kai wears “so much yellow.” A few individuals shared their responses, saying it is likely the idol’s favorite color.
This is not the case, though, as reports claim the TXT member likes green and black.
But, whatever the case, the commentators seemingly agreed that yellow clothing items likely “suit” the idol well, causing him to wear such pieces so much. Others also argued that it might be part of the group’s concept during their early years in the K-pop scene.

TXT Huening Kai Breaking The "Yellow Trend"
Meanwhile, Koreaboo previously said Kai broke the “yellow trend” when they made their official debut in 2019. This came after Soobin, and Yeonjun wore yellow clothing items and used accessories of the same color for their “reveal pictures,” but not the maknae.
As it happened, the TXT member chose to wear a red and white striped top and held a purple flower for the shoot.
The publication noted, though, that the idol, nevertheless, wore yellow pieces for his introduction film.

Going For "Darker Aesthetics" In Recent Comeback
These days, Kai does not appear to wear clothing items in yellow, as much as he used to in the past.
INKI Style pointed out that the idol and the rest of the group have diverted from their “usual concept” and stepped into “darker aesthetics” for their recent comeback.
It was later noted that this became apparent, especially on the TXT members’ music video for Good Boy Gone Bad, which serves as the title track of their comeback album, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child.
