Tribe Nine: Corpse Husband Confirmed as English Dub Voice Actor for Ojiro Otori

Funimation's Tribe Nine anime might already be in full swing but the English dub episodes have just started being dropped last week. But who is playing the terrifying Lord Ojiro Otoro in the series? Corpse Husband has just confirmed that he will be the English dub voice actor for the villain and he just made a stunning debut!

We already know that the legendary Junichi Suwabe provides the voice of Ojiro in Tribe Nine. However, when the English dub voice cast was announced, fans were disappointed when Ojiro's other voice actor was not revealed. Luckily, Corpse Husband made it official in a Twitter post.

"I couldn't have asked for a better first role," the viral YouTuber wrote, adding that he is "very honored to be a part of it."

It might be the first voice acting job for the musician but he certainly seems to be nailing it. Fans are loving how Corpse Husband is playing Lord Ojiro and we can't wait to hear him again in future episodes.

Tribe Nine takes place in a dystopian future where disorganized youths form their own violent Tribes. To contain the violence, the government of Neo-Tokyo implements the XB Law where all conflicts between Tribes should be settled in a game of Extreme Baseball. In this world, Haru and Taiga decide to join Kamiya in the Minato Tribe to learn about the dangerous game.

The Tribe Nine English dub voice cast also includes Jacob Hopkins, Casey Mongillo, Phillip Sacramento, Brittney Karbowski, Kevin D. Thelwell, Brendan Blaber, and Joshua Waters. The anime premiered on Funimation in early January. The latest episode is the sixth in the series and is titled What I Wanted ("Mitakatta Mono").

The first five episodes of Tribe Nine are now available for streaming on Funimation.
