In Trapped in a Dating Sim Episode 1, I Hate This World, A Japanese salaryman completed an Otome game and afterwards, he hit his head and died. He got reincarnated as Leon Fou Bartfort in the game he plays where futuristic technology and rural living provide for floating islands. The thing is, it is dominated by women and his father in the game is married to Lady Zora.
After ten years, Leon is preparing to enter The Academy where men look for wives or become paramours. Zora tells him to marry the ugly 50-year-old daughter of her friend. With knowledge of the game in his past life, he quests to find Luxion, the powerful ship that the female protagonist in the game must find. It is controlled by artificial intelligence that will attempt to kill him because he is a new human.
The new humans in the game are those who can use magic and could eliminate those who created Luxion. With his old human soul, he was able to enter Luxion as one of its owners. Zora assumed he died but Leon came back with a fortune from treasures he looted knowing the dungeons in the game. He comes back to The Academy and looks for a woman to marry.
