The Too Many Losing Heroines release date is finally confirmed via a new trailer that highlights more of the anime’s cast members.

On top of the release date, the new trailer also features a preview of the show’s energetic opening song, not to mention it’s our best look yet at this cute new romantic comedy anime.

While the show was only announced back in December 2023, the fact that it’s already coming out just half a year later is quite a surprise, especially as many anime are announced years before their premiere.

Too Many Losing Heroines Release Date and Schedule

Too Many Losing Heroines is the latest anime from A-1 Pictures, the popular studio behind shows such as Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Mashle, and Solo Leveling.

Aside from featuring a cute and eye-catching art style, the series also features many well-known VAs.

These include Shuichiro Umeda (Akira in Zom 100), Shion Wakayama (Shizuka in Mushoku Tensei), and Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya in Spy x Family).

Rom-com anime fans can look forward to this new series which is set to be released on July 14, 2024.

As with most seasonal anime, fans can expect new episodes of the series to be released every week. Given that the show premieres on the 14th, one new episode will be released every Sunday.

Viewers will also hear a familiar voice every episode as its opening theme titled Tsuyogaru Girl by BOTCHI BOROMARU features vocals by Mossa of Necry Talkie, the band behind the Girlfriend, Girlfriend and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off opening songs.

Where to Watch the Too Many Losing Heroines Anime

In Japan, this new anime will air on various networks, including Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and YTV. For now, there’s no word yet on where the series will be streamed outside of Japan.

Chances are that this show will be streamed on Crunchyroll in the US, as it is produced by Aniplex and made by A-1 Pictures

For reference, A-1 Pictures is owned by Aniplex, which is itself owned by Sony. Given that Crunchyroll is also owned by Sony, most Aniplex shows are streamed there outside of Japan.

Lycoris Recoil and Too Many Losing Heroines Share an Intriguing Connection

If the show’s look is familiar, that’s because the original light novel features illustrations by Imigimuru, the character designer of Lycoris Recoil. The artist is also the character designer for the Too Many Losing Heroines anime adaptation.

Even though they share an artist, their stories couldn’t be further apart. Unlike LycoReco, this new anime is a cute rom-com that follows Kazuhiko, a boring high school student who witnesses many popular girls in his school get rejected.

He soon gets tangled in the drama regarding why all these girls are losing out on getting relationships.
