Tom Holland Reprising Spider-Man for the Disneyland’s Avengers Campus

Everyone is excited to have Tom Holland reprise Spider-Man for the third solo film, but it looks like we're going to be seeing him in another way besides the big screen.

According to Good Morning America, Holland will be reprising his role as Peter Parker for Disneyland's Avengers Campus ride, Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure. The rise has Peter Parker bringing in a group of inventors to show off new tech in a place called the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB). The fun starts when some spider-bots run amok, and Spider-Man has to ask the guests for help in keeping everything in order.

Eight guests will board the Web-slinger ride, for a mission that lasts for four-and-a-half minutes. Executive Creative Director Brent Strong also had this to say about the ride, "You actually get to sling webs just like Spider-Man… We can render a virtual web coming right out of the palm of your hand, right out of your virtual web-shooters, and into a virtual world. It's a lot less painful than being bitten by a radioactive spider, but you actually get to have all of those amazing powers."

After the whole fiasco with Disney and Sony last year, it looks like the deal has become more solid than ever. I mean, why else would they be integrating Peter into the Marvel universe besides the films? This looks like a good bit of fun, but I'm more eager to see that animatronic Spider-Man that's going to be swinging around the park.

Avengers Campus will open on July 18.
