Tom Holland Reacts to Disney and Sony's New Spider-Man Deal

I think it's safe to assume that we're all excited for Spider-Man staying in the MCU, even if it's only for one more film and guest appearance. After MCU Spider-Man 3, or whatever home-related name it gets, and a likely Avengers movie, it seems like Tom Holland's Peter Parker will have to cross over with Venom and Morbius so let's enjoy these movies while we can.

One person who was more excited than most was Tom Holland, who posted a short clip from Wolf of Wall Street that has Leonardo DiCaprio say "I ain't leaving." You can tell that Holland is happy to stay in the MCU, at least for a few more movies, and it will be interesting to see what the third film has in store for him.

The fact that Marvel Studios will get to close out the journey of Spider-Man is a very good thing. Prior to this, most of us thought that the third home-related Spider-Man film would ignore all the previous continuity, which would have been very bad since the character's journey was about following Iron Man's footsteps. Now that he has to be his own man, he's in for one hell of a wakeup call since Mysterio revealed his identity to the whole world.

Considering how Spider-Man: Far From Home exceeded most of our expectations, there's a lot to be excited about MCU Spider-Man 3. The Mysterio fiasco has a lot of repercussions for Peter Parker and we can hope for one hell of a conclusion.

MCU Spider-Man 3 comes out on July 16, 2021.
