Tom Holland Admits To Peeing Himself Watching A Star Wars Movie

Tom Holland might not be as fond of Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away as Marvel's Peter Parker, but as it turns out, one of the Marvel star's most memorable movie experiences was watching Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

For the past few weeks, Holland and the rest of the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home have been making the rounds to help promote Marvel's last film of the year.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, the British actor got to talking about memorable movie experiences, and according to Holland, the first movie he ever got to see on the big screen was Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

The Star Wars prequel came out in 1999 when Holland was four years old, and apparently, the actor wet himself in the cinema because he just couldn't stand leaving for the bathroom because that would mean he would miss parts of the soap opera. It's a cute and embarrassing story in itself, but to add to the hilarity, Holland says that he had been sitting on his grandfather's lap during the time.

Now, we know why the memory is drilled in the actors head. We're pretty sure that Holland's grandpa wouldn't let him forget it – we can imagine all the family functions where the story might be brought up from time to time. Maybe this is why Holland isn't a big fan of Star Wars. The actor's probably had enough Star Wars wetting stories.

Holland is set to reprise his role in Spider-Man: Far From Home which premieres on July 2, 2019.
