There is little doubt that people were thrilled to meet the several different versions of the God of Mischief in Loki. But which one is the best Variant? Tom Hiddleston has just declared that Alligator Loki is the Superior Loki.
Alligator Loki aka Croki was introduced along with Classic Loki, Kid Loki, and Boastful Loki in the post-credits scene in Episode 4. Since then, fans couldn't stop talking about the Asgardian reptile and have even gone as far as claiming that the Variant is the best one in the bunch.
But does Hiddleston agree? The Avengers: Endgame star recently took part in a Tumblr Q&A session where a fan asked if he thinks Alligator Loki is better than him. Hiddleston was quick to point out that he originated the role but concedes that he has been defeated by a crocodilian.
"I've been toiling away at this character going on for 11 years. And I have given everything I can only to be upstaged, perhaps inevitably, by the one true Loki, the superior Loki, which is Alligator Loki," Hiddleston said.
"You know I sort of knew it was coming. I felt I was going to be substituted at some point. And I'm glad it's finally happened. Alligator Loki has arrived. And, yeah, thrown his hat down. And the rest of us simply have to get out of the way at this point," he concluded.
It's good to know that Hiddleston respects the power that Alligator Loki holds. Although it's unclear if we'll see more of the reptilian, fans believe we'll eventually get to learn Croki's backstory.
