Tom Hardy is Ready for Another Venom Film

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is about to hit cinemas in North America and there are questions already if there will be another film. The sequel is expected to be a success and, most of the time, it always leads to the studio greenlighting another installment. So far, nothing is official yet, but star Tom Hardy is already setting his sight for his third solo outing as the alien symbiote.

The Hollywood Reporter recently published a profile on Hardy's work on the sequel and how he was involved in its development. It's an interesting piece to check as it revealed the actor's hard work and dedication on playing Eddie Brock/Venom as well as his input on the script (since he has a "story by" credit in the film). In the end, the actor expressing his interest in doing another film. "I'm deeply invested in this particular franchise," he said. "If it's successful, there is another one to do."

It is great to hear that Hardy is invested in the franchise and open to do another film. He is fantastic in the role of Eddie Brock/Venom and we surely wouldn't mind seeing him play the characters in more films. Of course, a third installment can only happen if the sequel will be successful enough for the studio to greenlight a follow-up.

There's also the fact that we might also see him in another Sony's Spider-Man Universe film. Even if we won't get to see another solo film for a while, there's a chance that Eddie Brock/Venom will show up in another film in the franchise. The possibilities are endless, especially now that that the MCU is exploring the multiverse and there have been rumors and whispers that those two universes will connect.

For now, we should set our sights on the sequel which is about to be released. It features the exciting face-off between Hardy's Eddie Brock/Venom and Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady/Carnage. The reviews are now up and most of them have said that it is an improvement from the first film.
