The Harry Potter film series is set to celebrate its 19th anniversary this year and one of its original cast members Tom Felton is cooking up something to commemorate the milestone. Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in all eight films is apparently planning a virtual reunion that will see a lot of actors who've all been part of the successful franchise, including Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson whose careers were launched to the stratosphere following the original Harry Potter film.

In a recent interview with ET Online, Felton shared that even though it's been almost a decade since the last film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released, he still keeps in touch with his castmates and friends. He also excitingly revealed that he's in fact planning something special to celebrate the franchise's 19th year next month. Felton said: "I saw the Weasley twins the other day. We went out to play some golf. Always chatting with a lot of the other guys on WhatsApp and staying in touch with them and making sure everything's alright. It's been nice because it's the 19th-year anniversary on Nov. 14, so I'm planning some sort of digital celebration…I'm trying to wrangle all the oldies back together again to celebrate the achievement really."

It's quite amazing, not to mention impressive how the Harry Potter series remains relevant after all these years and the clamor for a reunion project from fans has always been there and it seems to grow even bigger as time progresses. Of course, most of the film's cast members have moved on to bigger things in life outside of the franchise's bubble but there's no doubt that they'll never be able to escape the shadows of the franchise that brought them all to the dance. I mean, not that they would want to. I'm sure Radcliffe, Grint, Watson, and the rest of the gang would be down to do it all over again given the opportunity.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone kicked off the franchise in 2001.
