Tokyo Revengers Chapter 230 Recap and Summary
The chapter gives us a glimpse into the past of Takeomi Akashi, the vice-president of Black Dragon's First Generation and now the vice-president of Brahman. He is known as the "God of War" because of the influence of his decisions on conflicts. He considered himself an ordinary child, but he remembers how Shinichiro Sano, his childhood friend, was something else. He was aware of Shinichiro's charm and how his kindness pulled others towards him. As such, they called him "The Weak King." Takeomi, Shinichiro, Benkei, and Waka then formed the Black Dragons, which eventually became the largest gang in Japan.
However, due to the power he held, Takeomi became arrogant. Following the disbandment of the Black Dragons, Takeomi kept living with the lifestyle of a gang member. He enjoyed life's luxuries, but this didn't last forever. He eventually struggled with money and was in debt. Five years later, Senju tells him that she wants to take on Mikey. With that, she wanted to form her own gang. Benkei and Waka were supportive about it, knowing that no one has won against her in Waka's gym so far.
Returning to the current fight, Takeomi starts talking about how he has failed Brahman and lost Senju's trust. Senju reassures him that everything isn't his fault because she also has a part in this. To redeem herself as Brahman's leader, she aims to defeat South.
