Ichigo Momomiya fantasizes about meeting someone special on her first day of high school. When she saw Masaya Aomiya's impressive kendo skills, she was immediately drawn to the handsome young man.
Most of the girls at school, however, have taken a liking to Aomiya, not only because of his kendo skills but also because of his charming personality.
Ichigo enlists the help of her friends to get Aomiya's attention. They not only spied on Aomiya's activities, but they also texted about his interests and likes.
They discover that Aomiya is a nature lover who is passionate about environmental preservation and saving animals from extinction.
Ichigo ran into a blue-haired student in the middle of their mission who gave her two tickets to the Red Data Animal Exhibition. She also pushed Ichigo to invite Aomiya on a date, despite the fact that they hadn't met yet.
In any case, Ichigo ran into Aomiya by chance. Ichigo saw Aomiya's two tickets for the red-data animal exhibition and decided to invite him out.

Everything was going swimmingly until the alarm went off, sending the visitors into a frenzy. Because of the crowd's panic, Aomiya and Ichigo were pushed to the ground together and landed an accidental kiss on the lips.
Before Ichigo could react, the blue-haired student reappeared, leading Ichigo out of the exhibition. Ichigo and the other girls were hit by a rainbow of light, which showed them an animal scene unlike any other.
Following that, Ichigo awakens to the sound of Aomiya's voice. Unfortunately, their exhibition date is made even more difficult when a Chimera Anima appears out of nowhere! It is a massive rat-like monster that likes to attack them.
While Aomiya passed out after falling down, Ichigo was saved by a blonde guy named Shirogane Ryou. In an unexpected turn of events, Ichigo transformed into a magical girl with cat ears and a tail.
Ichigo decided to fight the monster despite her confusion. Even the blue-haired girl returned to fight alongside her. After a while of running, Ichigo decided to confront the beast with her new abilities.
Fortunately, Ichigo defeats the Chimera Anima. After the fight, Shirogane and the gentle Keiichiro led Ichigo to their headquarters, the Mew Mew Café. Will Ichigo discover the truth about her new endeavor?
