Thunderbolts Star Makes 'Wild' Claims About Upcoming MCU Movie

A lot of MCU fans have been anticipating the release of the upcoming team-up film Thunderbolts, which will feature some of the beloved characters from past and TV shows that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (or Val) recruited for a special mission. So far, the exact plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is expected to be a fun action-adventure movie.

Speaking recently with Collider, Emmy-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Val, discussed her involvement in the MCU. First, she explained why she decided to join the franchise where she cited her family as the main reason to get involved.

"They're interested in this, of course. But the point is that, for years, both of my boys have been saying, 'Mom, why don't you do a Marvel movie? Do a Marvel movie. Do a Marvel movie,'" she said. "And I'm like, 'Oh, they’re not going to pick me for a Marvel movie.' And then they did. And I was like, 'Oh yeah. Now my boys are going to be psyched.'"

The actress went on to share her excitement about working in the upcoming film and promised that it will be "absolutely wild."

She added, "I'm really excited to shoot Thunderbolts, which we're going to do this year. It's going to be absolutely wild."

Based on the line-up that they assembled so far for the film, it is not surprising to hear that the movie is going to be "wild" and it is exciting to see what kind of chemistry will they have considering the personality differences of each member.

It also sounds like Louis-Dreyfus will finally get a much bigger role in the upcoming film than ever before since we've only seen her in a couple of scenes in the past projects that she appeared in such as the recent Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. That alone should amp up the excitement even further.
